Welcome to the website of Bed & Breakfast de Valkenhorst in Lelystad. We offer 2 cosy rooms furnished with the ‘shop daughters’ of our former brocanthop. We have lived in Lelystad since 1984 and settled at our current address in August 2001. Unfortunately, our attempt to open our French interior design shop next to our house was unsuccessful, but we now live in a spacious and rural setting on the outskirts of Lelystad. Our home-work combination at the Flevopoort turned out to be big enough to set up a number of rooms as Bed & Breakfast in addition to the Administration Office we started in 2004. We live close to the A6 and Lelystad airport and by car it is 5 minutes to the city centre. We have created plenty of opportunities for relaxation after a busy day in our sauna and sunbed in our patio garden. Flevoland may be the youngest province in the Netherlands, but there is plenty to see and experience here! Valk and Marion van Spiegel
